Year 4 Art

Year 4 have been making 3D chairs for Art this term. They have learnt the skills needed to create 3D shapes from cardboard and stick these components together (tricky!). They covered their chairs in papier mache (messy!) and them coloured them either with paint or tissue paper (more mess then!). One Langhorne pupil said: 'It was fun making our chairs, but a bit hard doing the papier mache', another said 'I really enjoyed this, papier mache was my favourite part of making the chair'.
