The shared philosophy of the staff of St. Paul's is based upon the principle of providing a happy, stimulating learning environment where successful learning can take place. We aim to foster and encourage good attitudes to learning, friends and family which we believe will set a pattern for life. We aim to develop in pupils a sense of self discipline where effective learning is the norm and to create a sense of concern for the learning environment in which there is mutual respect between all members.
The development of the child as a whole person is central to our belief, to recognise that each child has particular and individual needs, that programmes of study should reflect these and that links between home and school are fostered and valued as an important part of the learning process.
We encourage the children to develop an understanding of the wider world in which they live and the confidence to be successful as they go through life.
Our educational philosophy is based on Christian belief and practice.
The Staff aim to ensure that the school is happy and successful and the children are taught through a variety of approaches to match ability and needs.
Prospective parents are actively encouraged to visit the school during the working day. Please telephone for an appointment.
We look forward to welcoming you and your children at St. Paul's School.
